Low Cost Performance Polyethylene Resins:

The CPP Engineering, LLC technology utilizes state of the art characterization techniques to identify polymer components of compositions of lower cost commodity, wide specification resins that are substituted for the prime polyethylene premium resins.  CPP Engineering utilizes patented and patent pending technology to determine the molecular weight distribution of the component resins and formulates blends that consistently exhibit targeted performance and process ability.

CPP technology is utilized to obtain certified pressure pipe performance from blends of commodity prime or wide specification resins. Similar success has been demonstrated in rotational molding.  In the corrugated HDPE pipe industry CPP technology is utilized to obtain American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials (AASHTO) M 294 performance specifications with a recycle content that exceeds 50 percent.  

low Crack Growth Resistance Improved by Blending:

Slow crack growth in Polyethylene typically causes brittle failure resulting in limited pipe life. As a result, only polyethylene resins having a minimum ESCR are utilized for many highway drainage and sanitary sewer applications. 

CPP Engineering, LLC has developed patent pending blending technology that discloses blend compositions with enhanced ESCR by combining commodity polyethylene resins, wide specification, post industrial recycled or regrind resins.
