Corrugated Polyethylene Pipe

The need to manage, recycle and conserve the world’s water resources has been well defined. To take on this task new products and improvements to existing products must be an ongoing process. One of those products, corrugated polyethylene pipe has the potential to become a leader in gravity water transmission (sanitary sewer, highway storm drainage, animal waste control, industrial waste control) and cable conduits. The engineering community recognize corrugated polyethylene pipe as having the best chemical resistance, the lowest coefficient of friction and the lowest priced product offered in the field today. With the increased demand to build and upgrade water and sanitary sewer infrastructure around the world, meet the ever-increasing need to protect our environment and contain water treatment facility cost there is a demand for low cost, installation friendly, and high performance pipe systems through out the world. Corrugated polyethylene pipe with a structural watertight joining system is a candidate to fill a large portion of that demand.

Polymer Blending Technology allows manufacturers of thermoplastic commodity and engineering resins utilize blends lower cost prime, wide specification, regrind and/or post-industrial recycled resins.  These blends are high value added substitutes that  perform and process consistently better than the prime resins they replace. Examples included PPI HDB and NSF certified Polyethylene Pressure Pipe resins, PBT injection molding compounds, LLDPE and HDPE film, PP molded and extruded products.

CNC Corrugator, Extrusion Die and Mold designs utilize engineering evaluation and computer control machine tool technology to create a corrugated plastic pipe manufacturing system that provides on the fly mold changes and die gap adjustment with low maintenance and competitive equipment cost.

Transportable Manufacturing Systems for when the geographical locations of installation sites are such that transportation and logistics costs for the product are high compared to manufacturing costs. CPP Engineering, LLC equipment designs looks to the future with the designs that can be utilized in a cost competitive transportable manufacturing system.
